Industry body Subsea UK is bringing companies in the south-west of England together to discuss initiatives which will protect jobs and revenues in the downturn.
The event, on 12 April will be explore collaboration, driving efficiencies through new technology and exports through exploration of new geographic markets.
The evening session will feature a series of presentations from six event sponsors including Nylacast, Frazer-Nash Consultancy, GE Oil & Gas and Martech.
They will outline how they are working to address the immediate and future needs of the oil and gas industry.
Subsea UK represents more than 320 members in the supply chain. It acts as a focal point to promote the sector and maximise its opportunities and provides a national forum for collaboration, diversification and technology development.
Neil Gordon, chief executive of Subsea UK said: “There is a huge amount of innovation and expertise in the south-west of England, particularly in the areas of subsea, defence, oceanology and marine renewables. We want to support these companies, helping them identify and exploit opportunities and encourage the exchange of knowledge.”
