Categories for this year’s glittering awards ceremony have been revamped and are better than ever.
Large Company of the Year (more than 200 employees): This award recognises the best large company, its commitment to people, its culture, the North Sea and the Aberdeen community.
Small Company of the Year (less than 200 employees): As above, this award recognises the best small company, its commitment to people, its culture, the North Sea and the Aberdeen community.
Best Employer: This award recognises the firm that best demonstrates its commitment to its people and dedication to creating a standout company culture. It is open to companies of all shapes and sizes.
Entrepreneur: This Gold Award will be presented to an entrepreneur who has not necessarily created something brand new, but who has thought outside of the box to diversify a business or product to new markets for long term sustainability.
Innovation: The winning entrant will demonstrate the step-change their technology provides.
Emerging Industry Leader: As the North Sea embarks on its next chapter it will need young energy leaders to pave the way forward. This award is open to outstanding young energy leaders, who deserve to be recognised for their appetite for continued learning, mentoring and influence. Applicants must be 35 or younger on the closing date of the award application.
New Energy Award: For the first time, Gold Awards will recognise the best project or innovation from the sector, including offshore and onshore wind, wave, tidal and solar.
Hall of Fame: Chosen by a judges panel.
