Transerv Energy said it has been given approval by the Western Australian Government to retest Warro-4.
The company said it expects it to recommence by the end of June once personnel and equipment can be mobilise.
In March, the company said the retesting of Warro-4 has been designed to re-evaluate the potential of the topmost part of the ‘c’ sand reservoir interval as well as revisiting the flow potential of the ‘b’ sand reservoir.
A spokesman for the company said retesting would provide “crucial information” on the potential of the entire reservoir section and give good guidance on the appropriate means to exploit the gas resources trapped in the Warro field.
