An oil and gas training group has flung open its doors to get youngsters interested in a career offshore.
Skills development organisation OPITO will allow around 80 16-year-olds across the city to take part in activities like touring an oil rig and the chance to operate a drilling simulator.
Companies participating in the event include oil giants Aker Solutions, BP and Conoco Philips among others.
OPITO UK managing director John McDonald said: “It is vital that we create a skilled and competent workplace for the future, ensuring that our industry operates effectively and efficiently and remains a major contributor to both UK and Scottish economies.”
He added that it was “very encouraging” to have the support of both the Government and the industry at such a crucial time.
Sessions throughout the programme will run until June 23.
