Real Energy said it has recommenced field operations in the Cooper Basin.
The company said a wireline correlation run has confirmed that a stuck isolating ball will be required to be removed by the workover rig operations.
A workover rig has been scheduled for the site to arrive at the end of July to remove the frac string so flow testing can commence.
Director Scott Brown said: “We are disappointed with the delay we are determined to correctly proceed with our program and obtain a result for our flow testing. We had planned to remove the frac string any way but it is a month or so earlier than previously planned. In our original program, the workover operation was planned to be undertaken after the flow test in order to change out the frac string to production tubing string for longer term production test and subsequent production operations.
“We will resume our post-frac flow back and flow tests upon the conclusion of the re-completion operations by a workover rig and will advise the market once the flow test results become available.’
