Oil major Chevron plans to sell two its larger buildings in Houston, according to reports.
The company plans to sell its Bellaire facility while a further 103 acres is also on offer at Clay Road and the Gran Parkway.
The building was bought about two years ago as a research and development facility.
A spokesman for Chevron said the move was being taken to “maximise” office space before adding that Texas reamins the “global centre” for the company’s upstream business.
