The firm behind the UK’s new HS2 high speed rail network will be in Aberdeen on Tuesday to tell supply chain companies how to win contracts for the project.
HS2 Ltd said more than 100 businesses were expected to attend the roadshow event at the Beach Ball Room to find out about the opportunities the new rail link will throw up.
It will create better connections between eight out of 10 of major cities including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester.
Andrew Jones, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport and Beth West, HS2 Ltd’s Commercial Director will be available to explain how firms can get themselves in the best position to bid for HS2 contracts.
