Former BG boss and Statoil chief executive Helge Lund has joined private equity company Clayton, Dubilier and Rice (CD&R) as an operating adviser.
During his 10 years at Statoil, Lund grew the bsuiness into one of the world’s leading oil and gas companies.
Under his leadership, the company’s market capitalisation rose from NOK189billion to NOK500billion.
CD&R partner David Novak said: “Helge has made a material, positive and lasting impact on the many businesses that he has led.

Lund is also a director at Schlumberger and has previously served on the board of directors at Novo Nordisk.
