The crew had to be evacuated from an oil tanker after it caught fire in the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday, a news report said.
Mexico’s navy said all 31 crew members had been taken off the Burgos and returned to Port, Reuters reported.
Vessel owner Pemex, Mexico’s state oil company, said all crew were safe.
Early on Saturday evening, Pemex said that firefighting teams were still trying to put out the blaze, according to the report.
The tanker was carrying 80,000 barrels of diesel and 70,000 barrels of gasoline, Mexico´s Communications and Transport Ministry said.
