Environmental experts in the oil and gas industry will gather to discuss some of the key issues facing the sector.
The fifth annual E-Reps forum will take place next month with a theme of Back to Basics.
Delegates will assess the latest environmental regulations by specialists from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)a and the Offshore Safety Directive Regulator.
Former Royal Marine, explorer and marine biologist Monty Halls will be the guest speaker at the E-Reps Forum.
Jill Rennie, founder and director of the E-Reps Forum, said: “We’re getting back to basics at this year’s E-Reps Forum: how is the industry going to drive continual improvement? Are we doing all we can to manage it and do we understand the risks?
“By doing this, we can all play a part in ensuring stakeholders provide assurance that environmental stewardship retains its rightful place on the operating agenda.”
The fifth annual E-Reps Forum will be held on Wednesday, October 5 at the Jurys Inn at Aberdeen Airport.
