Expro has appointed a senior project manager responsible for the delivery of integrated well abandonment services.
Bill Inglis has worked in the oil industry for more than 25 years and joins Expro from Hess Denmark, where he was drilling and completions superintendent.
Earlier in his career Mr Inglis worked on well decommissioning projects for BP, focusing on fields including Schiehallion Claw, Don and Magnus.
Mr Inglis said: “The role of decommissioning is a complex one, which brings with it a number of challenges. Each project is different and requires a careful approach to safely and efficiently completing these campaigns.
“We continue to focus on adding value to our clients by working with the latest technology to create efficient practices, ensuring they deliver these projects on time and on cost.”
He is based at Expro’s regional headquarters in Dyce.
