US President Donald Trump’s administration has drawn heavily from the energy industry lobby to build its team for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
According to reports, an email lists three former researchers from think-tanks which had financial backing from industrialist brothers Charles and David Koch.
Meanwhile, several members of the team have also argued against US efforts to combat climate.
The team replaces the initial EPA transition group picked by Trump after the November election, but prior to his swearing in.
Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt is currently awaiting his Senate confirmation as Trump’s nominee to run the EPA.
