Lekoil today named Bruce Burrows as its chief financial officer.
Lekoil focuses on oi and gas exploration in Nigeria and West Africa.
For the past six years, Mr Burrows has been the CFO of Seven Energy, a private integrated gas company in south east Nigeria, with upstream oil and gas interests in the region. Prior to Seven Energy, Bruce spent 14 years as the finance director of JKX Oil & Gas PLC, the London listed exploration and production Company with interests in Ukraine and central and Eastern Europe.
Chairman Samuel Adegboyega said: “We are delighted to welcome Bruce to Lekoil. His experience working in Nigeria, his knowledge of the investment and banking communities and his experience at a producing company will be invaluable to us as we embark on the next chapter in Lekoil’s development.”
