Amec Foster Wheeler has landed a £125million nuclear deal.
It comes the same day Wood Group revealed a £2.2billion takeover of the firm.
The contract win is with EDF Energy Nuclear Generation.
Under thee deal, AMEC will continue to provide operational support for the UK reactor fleet, which began more than 50 years ago. The five-year agreement, with an option to extend for a further five years, follows Amec Foster Wheeler’s partnership with EDF Energy under two similar frameworks – TSA1 and TSA2.
