Oil giant Statoil has released footage of a major operation to move its massive Aasta Hansteen platform from the Stord field.
The spar platform, a floating installation which is the largest of its kind in the world, is being moved by five tugs operated by DOF Subsea.
It is being taken 500 nautical miles to the Aasta Hansteen field in the Norwegian Sea.
Statoil says it is the largest tow-out operation since 1995.
The operation is a tricky one, the energy firm says at the shallowest point there was a clearance of only 14 metres, after which the platform had to pass under high-voltage cables.
The drilling campaign on Aasta Hansteen is planned to start towards the end of 2017 or the beginning of 2018.
