Massive structures which will form fixed quays in the new South Harbour in Aberdeen have been offloaded in the Cromarty Firth.
Each of the 22 “caissons” are 164ft long, 55ft wide and 52ft deep.
They are expected to begin arriving within the next week as work continues on the city’s harbour expansion.
The project is valued at £350 million and is due to be complete in 2020.
