Former Centrica and BP boss Iain Conn has joined the board of industrial flow control specialist Oxford Flow.
The company designs and manufactures innovative pressure control equipment using technology developed at Oxford University.
Engineered to be smaller, lighter and more reliable than competing technology, Oxford Flow’s pressure-reducing valves and regulators are said to significantly reduce costs for the energy, water and process industries.
Mr Conn was chief executive of energy firm Centrica, replacing Sam Laidlaw, from January 1 2015 until last year. He was CEO, downstream, at BP from 2007 until 2014 and a main board director of the energy giant from 2004 to 2014.
