DOF says it has landed a clutch of North Sea and Brazilian subsea contracts worth more than than £81million.
The Skandi Skolten and Skandi Bergen will be among the vessels engaged in work on re-installation of the Banff and Kyle FPSO project, which will see tow-out and mooring of the craft and new subsea architecture being installed on the field.
Teekay has also contracted DOF to carry out pre-installation, mooring and hook-up work for the company’s new floating production vessel to be installed on the Knarr field off Norway, while the company’s Skandi Salvador has had its contract with Chevron for Brazil extended until the end of 2014 after five years.
The vessel, the first of its kind built in Brazil, will provide production support for the Frade field off Brazil.
“We are very glad to keep working with first class clients like Chevron, where we can have a high cooperation level and transparent dialogue,” said DOF’s country manager for the region, Eirik Tørressen.
“We are confident that the new contract will replicate the same excellence in performance and safety records.”
