Oil & Gas UK has announced five new director appointments to its board.
Andy Samuel, managing director of BG Group’s European E&P division, Maersk Oil UK managing director Martin Rune Pederson and Eric D’Argentre, general manager of Perenco UK, will represent the interests of industry operators.
Sparrows chief executive Doug Sedge and Luke Farajallah, managing director of helicopter group Bond will represent industry contractors on the group’s board.
“These latest appointments bring the total contractors represented on the board to ten, highlighting the importance of the supply chain’s technology and expertise to Oil & Gas UK’s objectives,” said Gordon Ballard from Schlumberger UK, the Oil & Gas UK’s contractor co-chair.
Malcolm Webb, the organisation’s chief executive, welcomed the new appointments who are taking place of four departing directors.
Brenda Dulaney, formerly of Chevron Upstream Limited, Taqa’s Leo Koot, Nigel Lees (formerly of BIS Salamis Limited) and ex-Centrica upstream boss Jonathan Roger have stepped down from the 24-person board in the latest round of appointments.
