Leading oil and gas firms are to look at business and legal issues in the industry tomorrow as part of an energy forum in Aberdeen.
Amor Energy’s second information management event of the year will discuss the business case and legislative overview in the oil and gas sector.
Members of the IM Energy forum include Total E&P UK, Maersk Oil, Nexen, Centrica Energy Upstream, Taqa and Cairn Energy.
“The forum brings together experts, academics and providers in the UK Oil and Gas sector to help shape IM strategies and transform current operations,” said Amor business analyst Fionnuala Cousins.
“At this meeting we will look at the latest insights, practices and learnings relating to the business case for Information Management in this sector and also at the latest legislative developments.”
The forum is part of an industry benchmarking study launched in 2009 and is working with Robert Gordon University students attending the Document Control in Oil and Gas foundation course.
The event takes place at Kippie Lodge on Wednesday. Click here for more details.
