Dana Petroleum’s Western Isles Project in the Northern North Sea will be the focus of the next Energy Institute dinner.
The Aberdeen-set industry meeting will be led by guest speaker Paul Griffin, UK managing director at Dana Petroleum.
He will discuss the company’s plans for the development of two discovered oil fields – Harris and Barra – 12kilometres west off Tern field.
Drilling has already begun and construction of a new floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) has started in China.

The first production from the field is expected in October 2015.
The Energy Institute dinner will take place on Thursday evening, October 10, at Aberdeen Marcliffe Hotel.
