The business process management software consultancy BusinessPort has appointed a new health, safety and environmental systems director to its Aberdeen headquarters.
Alan McInnes will instruct on the use of the company’s AgilityBMS software, as well as providing process identification, capture, improvement and mapping for clients.
McInnes, who has more than 25 years of experience of QHSE business management systems, joins BusinessPort having previously worked at several north-east firms, including Viking Supply Ships, AdviSafe UK as UK managing director, QHSE Advisors and Wood Group Fire & Safety.
“I’m very much looking forward to getting stuck in to my new job by helping clients get the most out of their AgilityBMS software,” McInnes said.
He will be joined by Stephen Maddison, who has been appointed product development manager, responsible for developing, testing and support of all BusinessPort’s products.
With 16 years of experience in IT, Maddison has previously worked as systems development manager at Alliance Trust and held various senior roles at international firm NCR.
The new appointments add to the company’s expansion after it increased its workforce by almost 50% in its software development and professional service departments within a 12 month period.
