Aberdeen-based XPD8 has appointed two new department managers as it celebrates 10 years in business.
Chris Hewson-Smith will take charge of the maintenance engineering department at the asset integrity firm.
Previously an independent maintenance management consultant, Hewson-Smith will bring in more than 30 years of industry experience and a wealth of contacts, the company said.
Peter Falconer joins as manager of the integrity services department from Oceaneering where he was an inspection and integrity function manager.
He has been involved in engineering projects in design, analysis and management for over 30 years and has focused on management, integrity and business development responsibilities.
“Chris and Peter are joining us at a time when we are receiving a growing demand for our services. Both have a great deal of experience and will be able to play important roles in helping us to maintain the highest quality of service and reliability in maintenance engineering and integrity services,” said Allan Merritt, chief executive at XPD8.
