Aberdeen-based flexible pipe specialist FlexTech is on track to reach £1million turnover by the end of the year.
The company, which was formed in March by Craig Keyworth, exceeded its first-year turnover target of £500,000 within six months and is set to reach double this within nine months of opening.
FlexTech is primarily involved in flexible pipe and rise engineering projects, offloading systems and integrity management and inspection.
It currently has a team of six subsea and marine specialists and plans to hire an additional eight employees within the next 12 months.
“I’m very pleased with the company’s initial progress,” said Mr Keyworth, who is the company’s founder and engineering director.
During its first six months of trading, FlexTech completed work and supplied equipment globally for a range of UK and international operators as well as installation contractors, said Mr Keyworth.
