The head of decommissioning at Norwegian oil services firm Aker Solutions is to join the board of Decom North Sea as the industry body increases its Nordic presence.
Torleif Gram, senior vice president with Aker, will join the Aberdeen-based group to provide support for events and activity in Norway.
Gram, with Aker for 40 years, has worked solely in the decommissioning sector since 200 and overseen the company’s key decommissioning projects in the North Sea – including the Frigg decommissioning project.
“We are therefore delighted to welcome Torleif Gram,” Decom North Sea confirmed.
“Torleif will also help us with the planning of future activity and events in Norway, similar to the assistance Dick Lagerweij provides for us in The Netherlands.”
