A Scots subsea firm has signed a deal to provide equipment and courses to Brazil’s growing oil industry.
Aberdeen-based SUBC Engineering has linked up with Entrada, which will act as the firm’s representatives as it looks to expand into the Brazilian market.
“We see great potential in the Brazilian market and are looking forward to developing our involvement in that area with Entrada B2B,” said SUBC managing director Colin Burney.
“Adding Brazil to our network strengthens not only our expansion plans, but also our global reach, with established offices in Aberdeen and Singapore.”
The company said it expects to create up to 20 new jobs in the country over the next two years through the deal.
