The East of England Energy Group (EEEGR) has called on the region’s energy companies to take part in its survey which, it hopes, will determine the attractiveness of the sector for business.
The online poll launched in association with RBS and legal firms PwC and Mills and Reeve will investigate areas such as training, retaining and attracting staff to finance, research, infrastructure and bad payers in the sector.
Results from the survey will be analysed and presented at a special EEEGR event.
“With the help of industry, we have compiled a straightforward list of fairly basic questions in a survey which will take 10-15 minutes to complete,” said Simon Gray, EEEGR chief executive.
“From it, we will gain an invaluable picture of the state of the industry each year and how it is performing. It is something we can refine and repeat and, over the years, calculate the health, strength and weaknesses of our industry in the East of England.
“The data will help us in our discussions and deliberations with Government, local authorities, skills providers and the industry itself and allow EEEGR to determine where it should be focusing its maximum attention.”
