North Sea engineering provider Apollo has named Jonathan White as its new business development director.
The industry veteran was previously in a similar role with EPC Offshore, and before that at Aker Solutions.
Apollo, which has bases in Aberdeen and England, provides front-end and detailed engineering work for platforms and offshore pipelines, along with marine engineering services.
“We have bold plans to enter new markets and with the support of our talented team I foresee further success for Apollo,” said Mr White.
“The North Sea still holds promise and potential for companies like us and we will endeavour to capitalise on the opportunities that the province provides whilst adding value to our clients bottom line.”
The firm, which has grown to 50 employees in three years, is looking to increase that number to 250 by 2019.
“Jonathan’s appointment will act as a catalyst for our future ambitions,” said managing director Jonathan D’Arcy.
“He has exceptional experience and knowledge of the energy industry. He will be a key part of our plans to step into new territories and will strengthen our position within the industry.”
