Energy industry pipeline firm PSS Hire has appointed former Balfour Beattie boss Mark Hamilton as a new director following its takeover by A-Plant.
Hamilton, who was formerly head of plant and logistics at Balfour Beattie, arrives with more than 15 years leadership experience in the industry and will drive strategic growth at the supply firm.
“Mark brings a great depth of knowledge and experience of working with the gas, water and electricity sectors,” said chief executive Sat Dhaiwal.
“He has an extensive background in dealing with plant hirers, procurement teams and the supply chain as a whole, both in the UK and overseas. He will be a great asset to the PSS business.”
The Cheshire-based firm provides equipment to the pipeline, utilities, civil engineering and infrastructure industries.
