Norway’s power giant Statkraft has promoted its head of financial reporting, accounting and tax to the executive vice president and chief financial officer role.
Hallvard Granheim, formerly vice president of global energy sourcing and trading for Norske Skog and financial advisor with Deloitte, is set to take up the new position later this month.
“Few companies can offer the exciting opportunities and challenges of Statkraft,” Granheim said.
“With a solid foothold in Norway, this is a growing company within renewable energy.
“Statkraft is investing heavily both in Norway and in international markets, and I look forward to becoming part of the corporate management team.”
