Aberdeen-based 80:20 Procurement Services has opened a new facility in the city following a number of contract wins last year.
The new Altens base employs six new team members and has the potential to accommodate up to 25 additional staff.
The relocation follows the parent company Peterson’s increased presence in the region through the expansion of its quayside operations in Aberdeen, as well as in its facilities in Edzell, south of the city, the firm said in a statement.
“This new facility represents a significant investment and the beginning of a long-term commitment to the future growth of the business,” said Paul Dorward, managing director at 80:20.
“In opening our new warehouse we have created a best in class facility from which we can develop our procurement offering, allowing us the capability to scale up our operations quickly in support of our growing client base both locally and internationally.”
