Asset integrity management firm Add Energy has secured a £1.2million contract for a semi-submersible rig with Stena Drilling.
The company has been commissioned to prepare a full maintenance build for the new rig which will be built by Samsung Heavy Industries.
The scope of work comprises of front end engineering design (FEED) and development, including equipment classification, asset register build, reliability centred maintenance (RCM) analysis and a consequence classification study.
“We have worked very closely with Stena Drilling for seven years and have an excellent track record of providing maintenance strategy and integrity execution for the company,” said Peter Adam, executive vice president of Add Energy.
“We have worked previously on seven of Stena Drilling’s vessels. Having an in-depth understanding of the requirements of clients working to NORSOK standards is key to our success in this field.
“We are delighted to be continuing our work with Stena on such an important project.”
