Eland Oil & Gas has appointed a new non-executive director after Andrew Barlett confirmed his resignation.
Dr Richard Norris will join the board of the firm, which specialises in exploration in Nigeria.
He has more than 25 years’ experience in the sector and is currently upstream advisor to Eland Oil & Gas stakeholder, Helios Investment Partners.
During the span of his career, Dr Norris has fulfilled senior roles for BNP Paribas, Geopetrol and Total. He also served a 10 year stint as chief executive and president of TSX listed Candax.
