The chief executive of Circle Oil is to step down from his position with the Irish explorer.
Professor Chris Green, who has been with company for more than eight years, will also step down from the board.
He will stay in his role with the company while a new chief executive is appointed to the team and further positions on the board are also added to broaden its experience.
Professor Green said: “I am very proud of what we have achieved at Circle over the last few years. However, after over eight years at Circle I feel that now is the right time for me to step down.
“Circle Oil has a very exciting future ahead. I wish the team well and I am confident in their abilities to deliver on the Company’s significant potential.”
