Cluff Natural Resources has appointed a new chief operating officer.
Andrew Nunn joined the firm in May 2014 as senior project manager and his new position will take effect immediately.
Algy Cluff, chairman and chief executive, said: “I am delighted to welcome Andrew Nunn to the board of the company. Since joining the company earlier this year Andrew has made an immediate and major impact on the development of the Company.
“This promotion is a reflection of the contribution Andrew has already made to our recent progress and the importance of his ongoing role, in particular as we continue to develop our offshore UCG licences in the UK.”
Mr Nunn was previously exploration manager of Dart Energy Limited where he was responsible for the planning and execution of coal bed methane, shale gas and tight oil and gas assets across Europe.
