TGS has appointed its chief financial officer to a newly created role.
Kristian Johansen will take on the newly created role of chief operating officer from February 1.
Robert Higgs, chief executive, said: “I am excited to see Kristian take this new role for TGS.
“As we have grown to be one of the largest geoscience data companies in the world, Kristian has served an important role in assuring that our Company has appropriate financial controls and processes.”
Mr Johansen joined TGS in 2010 as Chief Financial Officer.
He was previously executive vice president and chief financial officer of EDB Business Partner in Oslo with experience in the construction, banking and oil industries.
