Specialist investors in oil and gas services Epi-V has appointed a new chief executive and chairman as it aims to expand its global footprint.
Geoff Holmes will take on the role of chief executive and Tony Kitchener joins the firm as chairman.
Mr Holmes has over 25 years of service and was most recently chief executive with Talisman Sinopec Energy UK. He began his career with Chevron and has previously worked for KCA Deutag, where he was responsible for the performance of the business across 29 drilling rigs in the UK and Norway.
Mr Kitchener has 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry working across sales, marketing and operations and spent 22 years with international oil and gas service company Expro.
The firm believes the appointments demonstrates FourPhase’s rapid growth since Epi-V led on a £25 million transaction to acquire a majority stake in the company in April 2014.
John Hutchinson, managing partner, said:“Tony and Geoff have a proven track record in the oil and gas industry and I am sure that their vast experience will play a pivotal role in the expansion of the company.
“FourPhase’s growth opportunities have become significantly stronger since our acquisition of the company in April and we will continue to support the business in commercialising its strong technology portfolio and grow in this emerging solids control market.”
