This stunning image was captured of the Floatel Victory off the coast of Aberdeen as it made its way to Premier Oil’s Solan field.
Floatel have secured a 45-day contract with the company for its accommodation and construction support vessel in the West of Shetland development.
The platform was snapped as it was towed from Invergordon to its final destination hundreds of miles away.
It had previously been working in the Gulf of Mexico for Chevron, before arriving in Cromarty Firth on Christmas day last year.
Once it has completed its stay on the Solan field, it is expected to move on to Clair Ridge.
The Floatel Victory began its journey to the Solan development on February 27th and will commence work at the end of the month.
The Solan oil field is operated by Premier Oil who purchased a 60% stake in 2011.
It lies in block 205/26a of production license P164 located west of the Shetland Islands in 135metres of deep waters.
