Absoft and Safran Software Solutions are set to lead presentations at an operations and maintenance forum.
The SAP specialist for upstream oil and gas will take part in a bid to offer maintenance and integrated planning solutions for operational excellence in the sector.
Safran Software Solutions, will showcase how their solution integrates with SAP to provide powerful planning and reporting functionality for effective resource scheduling and maintenance optimisation.
The vice president of international development, Richard Wood, will discuss how Safran’s solutions streamline routine maintenance planning and reduce shutdown and turnaround downtime.
Absoft commercial director, Don Valentine said: “The forum gives our clients, and maintenance teams from asset intensive industries, with an opportunity to re-evaluate how they can report maintenance activities in SAP more effectively, within cost constraints and without compromise to safety.”
Absoft will introduce a new custom solution which streamlines data entry in SAP using a simplified user-interface, which is more aligned to the way maintenance technicians work offshore.
The custom web application improves the user experience for maintenance technicians, eliminates recurring technician training costs and facilitates asset life extension.
The event takes place on Thursday, May 28, at Absoft’s offices in Aberdeen.
