North Atlantic Drilling’s chief financial officer Ragnvald Kavli, is to step down later this month.
The company said Kavli had decided to leave to pursue other career opportunities. He step downs on August 17.
Scott McReaken will succeed Kavli as CFO assuming his new responsibilities along with his current role as chief executive at Sevan Drilling.
McReaken comes with a strong background within the Seadrill Group where he has held various management positions. In addition he has held positions in other offshore drilling contractors in Norway, USA, West Africa and Latin America.
In a statement, North Atlantic said: “The board welcomes Scott McReaken to the executive team and expresses their appreciation to Ragnvald Kavli for his contributions to North Atlantic Drilling.
