Northern Gas and Power, a Gateshead based energy consultancy, is set to create 70 new jobs.
The new jobs are needed to handle a sustained period of growth which has seen staff numbers rise from five 18 months ago to 50 by the end of this year. The drive will continue through to the end of 2016, taking their employee count to 100 staff.
European Director Sean McCann said: “This is a defining moments for us and we are very proud of the recognition from both the industry and our clients.
“We want to use this as a springboard to expand upon the already good service we provide our clients and to do that, we need enthusiastic and driven consultants. We are actively recruiting for these types of people.”
Founded in 2009, Northern Gas and Power clients range from small to large businesses and government organisations.
