Weir Group has confirmed Andrew Neilson will takeover as interim company secretary on December 18.
Neilson will hold the post in conjunction with his current role of director of strategy and corporate affairs.
The move is a stop-gap until the firm can find a permanent replacement for Keith Ruddock, the current company secretary and general counsel. He will retire from the group at the end of the year.
Founded in 1871, Weir Group employs 15,000 people and posted a turnover of £2.4billion last year.
