Helicopter flights have resumed to normal after dozens were cancelled in the last fortnight across the North Sea.
Fierce weather has impacted offshore journeys with huge waves being captured on film by workers.
Last month, one worker was killed while two others were also injured after a huge wave hit the COSL Innovator rig in the Norwegian North Sea.
A CHC spokeswoman said:“Safety is our number one priority. Due to weather conditions in Aberdeen and offshore, we have experienced some delays and cancellations to flights over the past week. We understand that these delays are inconvenient for the offshore workforce, so when conditions allow, we have scheduled extra flights for our customers to reduce the backlog.”
Meanwhile US company Apache said production had not been impacted on its Forties field despite the weather.
A spokeswoman said:”The weather has caused some delays but has not had an impact on production.”
Earlier this week, a DOF Subsea vessel, was captured on film as it battled high seas to make it back into Aberdeen harbour.
