A duo of Norwegian daredevils will parachute into a risk management conference near Aberdeen in May.
Once they have landed, skydivers Bjørn Magne and Espen Fadnes, will deliver presentations on corporate risk.
Mr Fadnes was an advisor to the Norwegian army before he became a full-time airsport athlete, while Mr Magne is an oil and gas sector safety advisor.
In addition to the Norse adrenaline junkies, Scottish Enterprise chairman Bob Keiller, who stood down from his job as chief executive of Wood Group last year, will speak at the conference – Managing Risk the Matrix Way.
Colin Maclachlan, star of Channel Four’s reality TV drama SAS: Who Dares Wins, has also been lined up to give a talk at the event, which has been organised by Aberdeen-based Matrix Risk Control and will take place at the Ardoe House Hotel on May 26.
Matrix, which was set up in 2008, provides incident investigation support to the oil and gas sector.
Mhorvan Sherret, a former Grampian police officer and a director at Matrix, said: “Managing business risk has never been more important in today’s environment and we wanted to establish an event to help shine a spotlight onto what is an incredibly important area that businesses from all sectors should take a vested interest in.
“For the event, we’ve gathered an informative range of speakers who promise to use their unique experiences to ask questions and showcase a different perspective to business risk and how it can be best managed.”
