UK subsea oil and gas companies will have a chance to woo potential customers in Asia at an upcoming conference in Singapore.
Subsea Asia 2016 will run for four days starting November 29 at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.
Subsea UK organised the event to help companies build up links in the region.
The trade body has partnered Subsea Asia with the Offshore South East Asia (OSEA) International Conference, which is being held on the same dates.
OSEA, which has been around for four decades, is expected to feature more than 1,000 exhibitors from 48 countries this year.
Subsea UK chief executive Neil Gordon said: “As Asia’s energy requirements increase, the requirement for innovative approaches grows to explore increasingly remote and difficult to access areas.
“Subsea Asia 2016 presents an ideal opportunity in the hub of the Asian oil and gas sector for our members to showcase their expertise to decision makers in the region.
“Partnering with a well-recognised event such as OSEA 2016, gives those attending the opportunity to maximise the value of their time at the conference and expands the potential for generating new opportunities.”
