An Aberdeen oilfield service firm has invested more than £250,000 in its Houston facility to support the manufacturing of a new product.
Reactive Downhole Tools displayed the Chimera wellbore clean-up product for the first time at the Offshore Technology Conference this week.
Reactive has also hired two new employees. Paul Higginson has taken on the role of mechanical tool product line manager and Nick Hooper is regional business development manager for the Far East.
Chief executive Mike Allen said: “As Reactive strives to become a full-service completions solutions provider, we realise the key is ensuring our completion tools are performing in the very best environment. It’s because of this that I am excited to announce the launch of Chimera, our full suite of wellbore clean-up tools.”
Established in Aberdeen in 2012, the company currently employs a team of 27 across its bases in Aberdeen, Houston, Abu Dhabi and Norway as well as holding a number of representative agreements worldwide.
