The finalists for this year’s Offshore Safety Awards have been announced.
The awards – jointly organised by Oil and Gas UK and Step Change in Safety, with Total as principal sponsor – celebrate the outstanding individuals and companies going the extra mile to ensure safe operations on the UK continental shelf.
Les Linklater, executive director at Step Change, said: “We had an overwhelming response to our call for entries which is a fantastic reflection of our industry’s continued focus on maintaining safe operations. Our judging panel had a strong field to choose from and I’d like to extend my congratulations to all our finalists for being shortlisted, a fantastic achievement.”

The finalists will attend an interactive awards ceremony like no other at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) on Wednesday 29 August where they will pitch their safety initiative directly to attendees, who will get the chance to cast their vote and ultimately decide on the winners of this year’s awards.
