Firms which excel in health and safety and renewables will be recognised at the north-east’s prestigious energy awards next month.
The P&J Energy Voice Gold Awards, in association with Aberdeen Standard Investments, will be held at the conclusion of Offshore Europe on Friday, September 6 at the Chester Hotel.
The Health and Safety award will recognise a company which keeps the health and safety of its workforce at its core.
The winning firm will have demonstrated an enthusiasm for continual improvement and will have included examples of workforce involvement in achieving health and safety excellence, backing from the wider leadership team and tangible examples of creating a safety-conscious culture.
As well as oil and gas accolades the Gold Awards is proud to have an award dedicated to recognising renewable achievements.
This category looks to recognise the best project or innovation from the sector, including offshore and onshore wind, wave, tidal and solar.
Whether at the concept and operational level, this award will recognise the renewable effort aimed at contributing to the UK’s energy mix.
CHC Helicopter, Chevron North Sea Limited and Stork, A Fluor Company are all in the running for the Health and Safety Award while David Smith, Cloffrickford Renewable Energy Company, Vattenfall and Wood will battle it out to take home the Renewables Award.
