Experienced due diligence expert and partner at big four firm Deloitte, Shaun Reynolds, will chair a discussion on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) at a P&J business breakfast next month.
Mr Reynolds is a partner in Transaction Services, based in Aberdeen.
Following seven years in Deloitte’s London corporate finance department in which he provided a wide range of transaction services to international businesses, largely in the oil and gas sector, he transferred to the Aberdeen office in 2009 to lead the transaction services team.
His experience incorporates a broad range of services including: acquisition due diligence, vendor due diligence, independent bank reviews and reporting accountant services.
The P&J’s M&A event will be held at the Chester Hotel on February 20 and will explore whether a renewed optimism in oil and gas could be just the ticket to driving M&A activity forward in 2020.
Leading the discussions will be one of the north-east’s top deal makers and managing director at Simmons Energy Mike Beveridge.
His clients range from some of the most advanced and high-growth technology companies through to well established founder-owned and private equity portfolio companies as well as many mid-cap and large, publicly-listed OFS groups.
