Organisers of Aberdeen’s annual All-Energy conference said yesterday next year’s event was on track to be the largest in the exhibition’s history.
Advance bookings for the 2013 show mean exhibitors will take up at least as much space as they did this year, with six months remaining before the renewable energy conference opens for the 13th time.
More than 8,300 people from 49 countries attended All-Energy 2012, while 580 organisations from 19 countries exhibited.
Jonathan Heastie, of conference organiser Reed Exhibitions, said: “Our bookings and reservations come from 17 countries, and we are certainly ahead of where we were in terms of sales at this time last year for All-Energy 2012.”
“It’s no wonder the show has been described as the AGM of the industry.”
More than 300 people gave presentations at last year’s All-Energy, and organisers have called for people to come forward with papers to discuss at the 2013 conference. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, December 20.
All-Energy 2013 will be held over two days at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre from Wednesday, May 22.
